Alton Towers Resort in 2019 is an exhilarating year with the opening of the hilariously hideous Alton Towers Dungeon, two amazing attractions in CBeebies Land and the return of the phenomenal Wicker Man!

To top it off, 2019 has also seen the opening of our brand new accommodation – Stargazing Pods, as well as the return of fan favourite events Scarefest and Fireworks!

      New for 2019 the Alton Towers Dungeon! Laugh and scream your way through Staffordshire's darkest history and discover the hilariously hideous stories of infamous characters including The Judge, The Torturer and The Highwayman!

    New Accommodation – Stargazing Pods


    Enjoy a truly outdoors Short Break and spend a night under the stars. Themed in a minimalistic style, Alton Towers Stargazing Pods are located just a stone's throw away from the Theme Park and set around the village green area perfect for outdoor play.

    Each Pod sleeps a maximum of 4 with 1 double bed and 2 single beds inside. This unique accommodation is in a camping style with the toilet, shower and accessibility facilities all located in a separate block in the Pod camp.

      Families can discover a range of aquatic life at Sharkbait Reef by SEA LIFE before testing their driving skills at Cuckoo Cars Driving School and the exhilarating twists and turns of the Runaway Mine Train!

    1-day Theme Park ticket can be used on either day of your stay (subject to Park opening) – please check our opening times before arrival.

    2-day Theme Park entry must be used on consecutive days as part of your stay. 2-day Theme Park entry does not apply to themed weekends. Offer subject to change and availability.

    Please note: if a Bed & Breakfast package is booked, Theme Park tickets are not included in the package. 1-day or 2-day Theme Park tickets can be added to the booking during the Upgrades stage.

    Early Ride Time between 9:30am – 10am applies to your second day into the Theme Park on selected rides only, subject to change and availability. Early Ride Time is not available during Scarefest and Fireworks events. Early Ride Time does not apply to partner hotel stays.

    1-day Theme Park packages:

    If you add 1-day Theme Park tickets you'll be able to enjoy Early Ride Time between 9:30 – 10am on selected rides only. This is available on the day the Theme Park is open.

    2-day Theme Park packages:

    If you add 2-day Theme Park tickets you'll be able to enjoy Early Ride Time between 9:30am – 10am. This applies to your second day into the Theme Park on selected rides only, subject to change and availability.

    Resort guests only: each member of the booking party will receive one complimentary 9-hole round of Extraordinary Golf to be redeemed during your stay. Resort benefits, evening entertainment, extras and activities are subject to change and availability. Please check the information boards in the hotel on the day of your arrival.
