Come rain or shine, the Alton Towers Waterpark is open all year round and offers bucket-loads of fun for all ages – the perfect accompaniment to your short break!
The indoor waterpark is home to high-speed water slides and interactive play areas. In the summer months, the Alton Towers Waterpark extends to an outdoor pool area. Enjoy the Bubbly Wubbly bubble pool and Flash Floods flume ride – perfect for those scorching summer days in the sun!
Alton Towers Holidays Tip: Don't forget to add Alton Towers Waterpark entry to your short break, simply add your passes when you reach the Upgrades stage when booking.
For guest safety and comfort during busy periods, timed sessions may be in operation, these will give access to the waterpark for a minimum of 2 hours.
Master Blaster
Get ready for a blast of water as you twist and turn around the whole Waterpark at breathtaking speed.
You must be at least 1.1m to ride the Master Blaster. If you're between 1.1-1.2m, guests must ride on a double ring – share the fun and stay safe together!
Rush 'n' Rampage
Slip and slide down the crazy turns of these two high-speed water slides. Choose Rush and enjoy an interactive experience! Make your selection from five funky music and light themes before you speed into the Splashdown Pool.
Riders must be over the age of 3. Children under 1.1m tall must be accompanied by an adult.
Flash Floods
Take a trip outside with Flash Floods: Outdoor Flume Adventures. Take on our outdoor slides before splashing down into the tropical pool.

Bubbly Wubbly Pool
Let the waters of the Bubbly Wubbly Pool soothe you as the steam rises outdoors. Or head to the bubbling waters of Volcano Springs...pure bliss!
Lagoona Bay
Have a quiet moment underneath the waterfall in Lagoona Bay, followed by a gentle swim in our indoor pool.
Wacky Waterworks
The Wacky Waterworks Treehouse has over 70 interactive water features to try. Have a splashtastic time with water cannons, buckets, pull ropes and water wheels!
The Tipping Bucket
Listen out for the ringing bell &ndashl it signals time for 1000 litres of cascading water about to fall!
Little Leak
Paddle, slide and play in the Little Leak area. Our bright shallow pool is full of fun and games, just for the little ones!
The Lazy River
Why swim when you can grab a rubber ring and head to the Lazy River?! Relax, lie back and drift along the Lazy River.
Alton Towers Waterpark operates a strict adult to child ratio of: One adult (aged 16+) to one child aged 4 or under. OR One adult (aged 16+) to two children aged 5, 6 or 7. This is to comply with health and safety standards and must be adhered to.

All members of the party must be swimming to fulfil the above ratio. All children under 8 years of age must have a supervising adult (16+) with them in the water at all times. Children aged 8 – 11 do not fall part of the above ratio, however must be accompanied inside the Waterpark by a responsible adult (aged 16+). Children aged 12 or over can be unaccompanied.
Guests wishing to use the Alton Towers Waterpark must adhere to the height, age and availability restrictions of the rides and attractions. For hygiene purposes, it is compulsory for guests of all ages to wear swimwear at our waterpark. For toddlers, a free swim nappy can be provided from the Waterpark reception. Additional swim nappies can be purchased from the Waterpark shop. Changing facilities are available, as well as lockers which require a 20p piece that's returned to you when you've finished with your locker.
The Alton Towers Waterpark is open all year round, however, times and activities vary between peak and off-peak periods. Please check the opening times before visiting. The Waterpark may operate timed sessions during busy periods.
